Originally from Ottawa, Lisa moved to Toronto in 2003 to pursue her passion for creating music. She earned a Master’s degree in Music Composition from York University, her B. Music from the University of Ottawa, and works as a Toronto-based songwriter/producer, composer, music instructor, and performer. Lisa has written music for TV and film, by commission, and for other artists to record. She studied composition with Steven Gellman , David Mott, William Westcott and Martin Arnold.

Lisa has recorded and performed saxophone, piano/synth, and vocals with bands and artists in genres including pop, rock, jazz, klezmer, R&B, funk, trance and trip hop in Canada and the USA. Past performances include the Ottawa International Jazz Festival and the Ottawa Cisco Systems Bluesfest.
